Financial Healing & Resilience Program
DATES: August 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, & 28
TIME: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
LOCATION: 6300 Block of Germantown Ave
We Rise to Thrive is a trauma-informed financial literacy and life skills program designed for youth and young adults ages 14–24 and their families in Philadelphia communities impacted by violence, stress, and economic instability.
The program uses financial education as a tool for healing, empowerment, and violence prevention, while intentionally addressing stress, trauma, and mental well-being. Financial responsibility and Generational wealth will be a huge focus of the program.
Through interactive workshops, safe-space discussions, creative expression, and family engagement, participants build financial knowledge, emotional resilience, and practical skills that support stability, goal-setting, and healthy decision-making—reducing the risk factors associated with community violence.
Participants Will Receive
A $30 gift card each class they attend.
Financial tools, books and other financial resources.
Additional incentives will be given to participants that show consistent class participation and adds value to the class.
The cohort will end with an optional field trip to
